Professional Fiduciary Services (PFS) would like to welcome our newest team member, Silvia Rosales. She is a California Licensed Professional Fiduciary (#1344) and National Certified Guardian.
Silvia is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine where she earned the degree of Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology & Social Behavior and a minor in Education. In addition, she is certified by California State University, Fullerton in Fiduciary Management for Trustees and by the University of La Verne as a Certified Professional Coder.
Silvia has experience in trust administration, serving as trustee and as an agent for your durable power of attorney or your advanced health care directive. Her passion for helping others along with her strong work ethic and integrity makes her a terrific addition to our team.
Aside from serving as a Private Fiduciary, she is also the Chief Operating Officer of Financial & Estate Literacy, a non-profit organization that offers free educational workshops in financial and estate planning. The mission of FEL is to educate adults, especially our most vulnerable senior population, to prevent financial elder abuse.
Prior to joining the PFS team, upon college graduation, she began her career in the non-profit sector at the Save Our Youth (SOY) Center in Costa Mesa, CA. She dedicated 17 years to the organization and worked her way up from a part time Academic Coordinator to a full time Operations Manager and Interim Executive Director. Silvia has vast experience in budget management, staff development and retention, community outreach, donor engagement, program development and fundraising. Her most gratifying time at SOY was mentoring and guiding hundreds of first-generation college students, who are now professional social workers, teachers, engineers, lawyers, accountants, entrepreneurs, doctors and more.
Silvia is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), UCI Alumni Association and the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
In her free time, she enjoys time with her husband and family, taking long walks with her energetic maltipoo, going to concerts and experiencing diverse cultures while traveling.
Silvia is bilingual and biliterate in Spanish and serves clientele in both Los Angeles and Orange County.
